                    In the senior classes at Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Kidwai Nagar, the focus is on preparing children for the Board exams as well as Competitive exams. The aim is to prepare them for life that awaits them after school life is over. Students are supported for exam oriented academic rigour with regular tests and pre-board exams, strong concept understanding and learning to deal with application based questions that the ICSE pattern of exam emphasizes.

The approach in the senior school continues to be student centric where the onus of learning shifts from the teacher to the student. A wide range of innovative methods such as active learning, cooperative activities, inquiry and experience- based learning are used in class room. These methods aim at developing competencies rather than mastering the given content knowledge. Ongoing assessment occurs regularly with term and exams thrice a year. Students are encouraged to participate in Inter House and Interschool literary, cultural and sport events.
